Now when you are convinced that our diet determines our dental health then let me share a few food items that are good for your teeth.
Starting with the drink as every one of us drinks different things throughout the day. Some drink simple water while others have bad habit of drinking several cups of coffee or tea. Water is the best drink as it offers huge benefits not only to our teeth but to our whole body so prefer drinking at least 5 to 8 glasses of water on daily basis. Green tea is considered good for our teeth. It decreases the chances of developing plaque and cavities. It also keeps our teeth safe from gum diseases. Some green teas naturally contain fluoride in them which protects the tooth enamel from damaging. Green tea also stops the growth of bacteria present in our mouth that causes odor.
Milk is yet another great drink for teeth as it contains calcium in it which is good for our dental health. Calcium is the major component of our teeth. Prefer using unsweetened milk as sugar is not good for your teeth. Fruits including all citrus fruits, applies, kiwis and strawberries are all good for the teeth as they contain vitamin C in them which keeps cells together.  Good for our gums tissues.
Start day with water
There are a few vegetables including pumpkins, carrots, broccoli, carrots and sweet potatoes that are good for our gums and they also helps in the formation of enamel. All these vegetables contain vitamin A in them which is good for our teeth and overall dental health.
Apart from this, food items which we get from animals including eggs, chicken, beef and turkey are all good for our teeth as phosphorous; calcium and vitamin D present in these food items protect them from decay.
